Visitor Access Procedures
All visitors requesting access to ANAD should go thru the Protocol Office 7-10 days prior to the visit..
Upon contacting the Protocol Office, required forms or information will be sent to the requestor. In the event that forms are incomplete, not given on time, or not cleared thru security, the Point of Contact (POC) will need to escort the visitor.
Any questions can be addressed to the Protocol Officer at (256) 235-6243 DSN 571-6243 or fax (256) 235-4473 DSN 571-4473.
- Non-goverment or contractors: A 380-2 (found here) is the required form for non government or contract workers. This form is to be filled out with the necessary information, signed by the requestor and someone from their security/personnel office to verify that the information is correct. The 380-2 will need to have two signatures to be accepted. It takes seven to ten days to process.
- DoD personnel or contractors with JPAS access: If the person is a government civilian/military employee then a visit request through JPAS (Joint Personnel Adjudication System) is required. All DoD and some contractors have access to JPAS. ANAD’s SMO code for JPAS is W0LXAA5. The visitor's security office will submit the request in JPAS.
- Memorandum on company letterhead is required and details name, social security number, date of visit, reason for visit, Point of Contact, etc.
