EAP - Waste Reduction Waste Reduction is an important part of the Environmental Awareness Program at the Depot. To help reduce waste, DRK has created a central database for excess materials throughout the Depot. This database encourages the exchange and reuse of materials, thus reducing waste and unnecessary spending. The Material Exchange Site allows Depot organizations to list excess materials for exchange such as excess office furniture, equipment, supplies, mechanical equipment, janitorial supplies, etc. Once listed, other organizations can check the site and collect any excess materials to use in their shops/offices.
